Dolce Vita 10/2025

The photographs for the October issue of Dolce Vita were taken right here — in our KNIT-ART studio, both inside and out in front of the building. Against the backdrop of our everyday workspace, photographer Eduard Michalko captured Mikuláš’s knitted works alongside iconic chairs. Styling by Jan Králíček, model Filip Hrivnák dressed in Prada, make-up & hair by Adriana Bartošová.

Forbes Life — A new dimension of a traditional craft. Knitted artworks shine beyond the acclaimed restaurant

What can you actually knit? Mikuláš answers that question in an interview for the December issue of Forbes. For him, knitting goes far beyond clothing — it gives rise to artworks for the restaurant Óda, silver necklaces for Dick Wolf, 3D compression orthotics for horses, seamless shoes for Aleš Hnátek, and smart garments with built-in antennas for capturing body data. The interview also traces his journey into knitting, his studies at UMPRUM, and the role of materials and technology in contemporary textile work.
